At ProDevs, we have the privilege of working with talented individuals like Martha Ojogbo, our exceptional Product Manager. In a recent interview, we had the opportunity to delve into Martha’s experience at ProDevs, as well as her personal and professional beliefs that shape her career. Q: What is your favourite part of your job? 

A: “Coming up with ideas and features to make up a great product,” Martha said with enthusiasm. She shared how the creative process of brainstorming new ideas and envisioning how they would enhance the final product is what she cherishes most. “It’s fulfilling to see the final product come to life and know that I contributed to its success.”

Q: What are the things you’ve done at ProDevs that you’re the proudest about? 

A: Martha expressed her pride in her significant involvement in the testing process for the ProDevs app. “Ensuring that the app is perfect because over 3000 other people would use it, and I have vetted it. I am so proud of it,” she emphasized. Martha recognizes the criticality of thorough testing and feels a sense of accomplishment in her contribution to the app’s success.

Q: What is one belief that you’ve had your whole life that you think has helped you become who you are today? 

A: Martha shared an invaluable belief she has held throughout her life: the commitment to never stop learning. “There is always someone better at what you do,” she explained. “So you should never stop learning. Keep improving yourself, and don’t be complacent.” This belief has been instrumental in her personal growth and professional development.

Q: How’s your work/life balance lately? 

A: Martha chuckled and admitted that balancing work and personal life is currently a challenge. “Lol, I’m trying to balance it,” she shared candidly. “I’m learning to set boundaries and prioritize my time so that I can have time for myself and my loved ones.” Martha recognizes the importance of finding equilibrium and is actively working on it.

Q: Do you feel that you’re advancing in your career? 

A: Martha happily affirmed her belief that she is indeed advancing in her career. “I’m always learning new things and taking on new challenges,” she expressed. “I feel like I’m growing professionally, and that’s really important to me.” Martha’s eagerness to embrace new opportunities and expand her skill set contributes to her continuous advancement.

Q: How do you plan out your week? 

A: Martha shared her effective approach of using a to-do app to structure her weekly tasks. “I set reminders for myself and try to stick to my schedule as much as possible,” she shared. “It helps me stay organized and focused.” Martha’s dedication to staying organized empowers her to optimize her productivity.

Q: Are there any software, tools, or resources that you use and think every other team member could benefit from? 

A: Martha recommended the to-do app she relies on for planning her week. “It’s really helpful for staying organized and on track,” she suggested. “I think every team member could benefit from using it.” By sharing her helpful tool, Martha fosters collaboration and productivity within the team.

Q: What are you passionate about, personally or professionally? 

A: Martha’s passion lies in leveraging technology to solve real-world problems. “I love being part of a team that is developing solutions that make people’s lives easier,” she expressed with enthusiasm. Knowing that her work creates a positive impact brings her immense fulfillment. Martha is also passionate about traveling, experiencing different cultures, and cherishing moments with her loved ones.
